consider switching from DispatchTimer to CompositionTarget.Rendering for main loop

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms653077%28v=VS.95%29.aspx   worked well in the perlin noise example, eats no CPU. This app shouldn't be eating much cpu just moving some sprites around, but...

convert bitmaps to xaml- prep for removing 320x240 limitations

bitmaps are lame. Move them to xaml, then scale as required. Might need a graphics artist to make look better but VectorMagic.com or Illustrator can convert pretty easily.

There's no good reason to restrict the size of the screen- it should size the levels as appropriate- at least as far as the width goes.   There are LOTS of magic numbers and magic formulas that are...

find a better way to handle the tiles than individual files

implementing the graphics files as xaml vector would be a MUCH better idea.   See vectorMagic.com or if anyone has a copy of Illustrator (which can make vector graphics our rasterized bmp's/png's),...
