THERE SHALL BE NO THREADS. There shall only be DispatchTimers.


Since this isn't being done in XNA, we can't FORCE the screen to show something immediately.
So for example, a loop that says:
for( I..)
  put image I onto the screen;
will ONLY show the images when the loop has exited and SL gets the opportunity to layout the screen again.
In other environments, we'd do a ProcessMessages() or force the event loop to be evaluated between iterations of the loop.
We can't do that here.
So we'll have to set things up to be kicked off by the Tick event of the DispatcherTimer which is run from the UI's thread and allows the ui to process messages between ticks so that our stuff gets onto the screen.
